So here is a picture from my doctor's appointment last month. (By the way, it's a profile shot -- head on the left, torso on the right.) They weren't able to tell gender because the baby was sitting on its feet. The technician put her "best guess" in an envelope for us to take home, but we've left it sealed. Guess it'll be a surprise! Although everyone, even the mechanic at the gas station yesterday, thinks it's a boy. We're trying to imagine a little boy baby with Bill's forehead but my nose.
As for names, we have a great girl name that we really like -- Maggie Ione. The boy one is harder. Lots of things we think "well that's nice," but haven't really latched on to anything. But Thanksgiving is not yet nigh, so we have time still.
Oh, and everything's healthy and happy and all in all coming up roses. We'll keep you posted!
