Finally a picture of the One Tooth! I've been trying all this time to capture her very lonely incisor; at long last documentation of what she looks like with a solitary tooth part. We keep thinking she's working on more. The one on the bottom next to this one keeps coming just to the surface so her gums are white and then receding back so her gums are pink. And now it sort of looks like just above this one, the top guy is trying to poke through. Who knows. We're kind of stalled out waiting.
Miracle of miracles, though: Maggie slept from 9 until 4:45 this morning. The previous night she slept until 4. And the night before that she woke up at 2:30, went back to sleep after 10 minutes, and then slept until 4:30. It's tempting to think she's passed a milestone and our nights will be as complete as we dare dream they will be. However, a couple nights this week saw us up for hours in the middle middle of the night. We tried to calmly walk or sing or whisper or rock Maggie into at least quietude while she informed us that we were killing her. I think it's best to expect this sort of behavior and then be pleasantly surprised when last night occurs, instead of the other way around.
