Our beautiful sweet daughter has started throwing around heartbreaking compliments lately. We were comparing hair the other day and she told me my hair was like sunshine. As I was walking through the house in my nightgown, she told me I had a beautiful dress. While petting Bill's brow after he sustained a toe injury, she told him very earnestly and sweetly he reminded her of a penguin. I hear her occasionally talking to a toy about something "sooo pretty" or telling one "that's nice" in her little singsongy voice. And she has several times just out of the blue come up to one of us with a hug and "I love you." This phase? Definitely my favorite.
