Fantesstic Friday

And we've moved on to bananas! Tessa did fine with cereal, but I'm not sure she really appreciated the flavor. Boy, though, bananas are a big hit! We're starting to remember some things about babies at this age, like beginning to use sign language for little things ("more," "finished") and being ok with messes. Next up will be apple sauce I think. And then maybe pumpkin. Or perhaps something green to get that going right away. Maggie had such issues with that color that I "just know" Tessa will too. It will be interesting to see what she actually will have tastes for or not.

She's going through a phase right now that involves crying and squirming and fussing unless Mom is at least in full view and preferably touching her. If Bill takes her so I can use two hands, he immediately has to leave the room or the house, because she is no longer in contact with me. It's super fun. And especially makes people feel great to have a happy baby turn sour just by touching her. But I'm sure it's just a phase and will pass like everything else. And I'll just grow enormous left arm muscles in the meantime.
