Here are some of Maggie's memorable moments from the past couple of weeks:
We got her to wear anything besides a dress! She was a bit unhappy about this and went tromping through the muddy banks of the river to convince us she should change outfits.
Maggie hosted her first sleepover. Her best friend Nora came over and had dinner (brownies and ice cream) and dessert (spaghetti and teriyaki chicken) during a movie (with a princess, of course). They both did fantastically! Nora did complain around 8:30 that Maggie wasn't ever going to sleep. But eventually they both did, sleeping all night (albeit with Maggie backwards), and waking up at 6:30 for cinnamon rolls in the morning.
And proof positive that Maggie does the big slide at the pool all by herself. We love going on Saturday or Sunday mornings when they open early, yet it seems nobody knows. We have the place pretty much to ourselves for almost an hour each week, and often Maggie gets to be the first person all day to go down the slide. Isn't she brave?!
